Small towns all across the USA have a train station no longer transporting people or goods across the nation. Some have fallen to the passage of time while others have been repurposed. This building has been in service since 1879 and was put on the National Historic Register 1980. In Stuart, IA, the Rock Island depot now serves as community center and houses historical artifacts.
