I agree with Chris, the grave first, though it may have been a tiny sprout at the time but the fact that his wife is laid to rest there which I can't quite make out the date but seems to be later.. Seven years old when Queen Victoria was born...a great history Doug.

That’s an impressive trunk and branch. If it’s pine I imagine the headstone came first.
