Plaça Josep Anselm Clavè
Popularly called La Barretina, this square is emblematic of Malgrat de Mar and hostes the traditional sardana dancing gathering in summer (before the pandemy), evening concerts and other activities. The headquarters of the association La Barretina Vermella, the oldest association in Malgrat and one of the oldest of its kind in Catalonia, have always been in this square, hence the name.
There are four bars/coffee shops there and is the perfect place to sit for a while enjoying a capuccino.
