An army of colorful hardwoods invades the lower slopes of Mt Chocorua, laying siege to the rocky peak.
The assault will ultimately falter, however, leaving the mountain to pass the winter in the company of the stoic evergreens,
until spring when the hardwoods will once again muster their forces for yet another campaign.
