We had a relaxing day. It was an odd schedule because we were flying back to Cairo in the evening. I was happy to fly back since the bus ride out to Siwa was pretty boring. Not too much to see in the desert. After breakfast, we went to the town of Siwa for a shopping trip. The ladies had a ball haggling with the merchants and getting various items of clothing. Ginny walked around photographing donkey carts, of which there were many. We returned back to the hotel for lunch, a free period to do whatever and a very early dinner. Then it was off to the airport to catch the flight to Cairo. The airport was a military field. I could see no evidence of airplanes except for our CRJ 900. It brought a large group for the hotel and took the eight of us back to the big city.
Today's photo is one of Ginny's donkey cart pictures.
