Unloading Fish

This is the best way to buy it, straight from the boat with no middlemen.
In the photo they are unloading Opah (Moonfish) which is currently $10 a pound cut.
Ahi Tuna is $12 a pound and Bluefin Tuna $15. Once you eat fresh tuna, hours out of the ocean, it's hard to go back to cans.
Two other good things are, the boat is locally owned by the Haworth family and they deliver.

I like this 'action' shot...and good to hear that small businesses are still flourishing

Nothing like this in either Wichita(of course) and in St Petersburg that I know of

definitely the way to go, fresh and a good price, although it can mean buying a whole, very large fish...the direct to consumer market is well illustrated, and the scene well served by diffused light..
