Stow's Tolkien Door

Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire.

The north door of St. Edward's Church, bordered by two yew trees. The door is rumoured to be the inspiration for the 'Door of `Durin', the west gate of Moria in the Lord of the Rings.

Now this is totally cool. As a Tolkien fan this is a big winner in my opinion. What a great story telling image captured with stellar clarity and colors. VV
