This was our first attempt at pizza on a pizza stone, which we bought each other for our birthdays (which are only 12 days apart). It's a bit messy, because we hadn't yet developed the technique of using parchment paper, which makes it much easier to put the pizza on the heated stone in the oven, and take it out again. It tasted pretty good, though. This was our version of a Pizza Margarita, with home-grown basil, locally-grown tomatoes from our CSA, and home-made vegan mozzarella (and yes, it does taste good).
