Yes, it's another cafe; but with the light hitting it like that (on a grey day where the light has been otherwise utterly bloody awful), the trees, the wide pavements... it was photographically irresistible.
But...
That does not seem to be true for the café itself. Should you ever be in the neighbourhood, I implore you to read the Trip Advisor reviews first. And in case you think that this is just a case of the Parisian waiters being snobbish to the Eeengleesh speakers in a stereotypically colourful way, 48 out of 86 reviews which had been written in French rated it as "Terrible". With all languages it's 118 Terrible out of 321 with a further 48 "Poor". Every restaurant gets disgruntled customers but those numbers are way over the odds.
The place looks a million Francs, especially under the lights. I'm glad I just left it there, because it doesn't sound like it would get any better than that.
You may recall this café from the classic photograph " 20190912_092535 Bonjour Mademoiselle" earlier in this gallery. Rue Monge changes names a couple of times when it crosses the Boulevard Saint-Germain heading north west toward the Seine. The Rue Frédéric Sauton runs off the Boulevard Saint-Germain a bit further to the left forming a right angled triangle. The café sits on the far side of that.
