G is for Gongoozler

You are a Gongoozler if you like to stand canal side and watch the narrowboats throughout the UK

This is onetime Pbase great guy Al. I was lucky enough to meet he and his wife while in England and we had a great laugh together.
You can see a lovely narrowboat passing by Clarence Mill on the Macclesfield Canal & Al had his camera at the ready and so did I

Always fun to meet other pbasers. It would be fun to take a trip in one of these boats.

Funny sounding word, yet appears to be an accurate summation. I like the POV and the portrait a lot. V

I've not heard that term before, but I can certainly understand the impulse to stand and watch the narrowboats! Two excellent shots. V
