We are preparing for our trip to Egypt. As I have mentioned before we intend to travel light this time. That means reducing the computer and photo equipment we schlep along. Normally I carry my monstrous camera backpack and a computer case. That is a lot of weight and bulk. On a car trip it is not a big deal, but on an international flight(s) it is a different story.

So I started collecting the stuff we plan to take. Four small cameras: G15, G5X, G5X Mk2 and D30. That gives a backup camera if we have problems (we did destroy a G15 on our Hawaii trip). My new 13.3 inch Lenovo is our computer for the trip. I have been using it to knock the bugs out of Lightroom. Add in the usual chargers, spare cables, socket adapters and a power brick to round out the collection. We have ordered a hard case for the computer and a backpack for all this stuff. I am going to be curious how all this stuff packs up.
