Speed, agility and body control, these are characteristics of the best athletes. Well take a look at this Snowy Egret trying to snatch fish from the waters of the San Elijo Lagoon. These birds are waders and typically fish from the shallows, but occasionally they fly over the deeper water to grab fish swimming near the surface. That's what this one was doing and putting on quite a show.
