I photographed this scene of curled palm fronds yesterday and when I got home I noticed that an ant was crawling on one. A lot of time shooters are looking for that perfect frame- the most outstanding sunset or the perfect flower. I think that perfection is over rated, however, and sometimes boring. I had other frames without the ant, but still chose this one to keep, because in this shot the tiny ant was the perfect imperfection.
