Bonjour Henri

A view to the southwest as tropical storm Henri begins pushing his way into New Hampshire.
Fortunately his sojourn as a hurricane was short-lived but he did some damage in southern New England and we'll have some rain to deal with here over the next 24 hours for sure.

You've created a great sense of foreboding with that layered landscape and murky sky.

A deep "grey" mood ! V.

Glad to hear you didn't get hit too hard. It looked like it was headed right for the Berkshires and southern New Hampshire. Still raining here. Looks like the same view we had only with mountains! Stay well Kevin and family.

And yet you've made the scene of the approaching storm look so serene!

Glad to hear you didn't get hit, but you did get a great shot of its arrival.

Rainy days are nice sometimes. You have really captured the beauty of one here.

so the land is getting a thorough soaking then, and the distant hills becoming spectral in the humid air...a refined touch on exposure here..V

It's a very good portrait of him. Maybe you'll get your bog back, at least temporarily.

Henri may not have stuck around, but what fantastic moody conditions you were given to get this fabulous shot. V
