World Photography Day 2021

My interpretation of this year's theme is
"My World" (ie, "Safer-at-Home") via Big Bertha, my Canon 600mm Lens.

Big Bertha (with her little buddies) has helped me to keep my sanity during the past 17 ½ months... "Home" also remains a refuge from the continuing (if not perhaps increasing) dangers out there. Being able to do daily Nature Photography at home (during a World "lock down") is very calming. It makes the world's current not-so-normal "New Normal" bearable.

Although I'm currently not able to safely travel to exotic photography locations like in the past, photographing what-is-now-available-to-me in my now reduced "personal world" makes it possible for a bit of life to still feel like the comfortable, old normal.

Above is my view of "Pandemic Lockdown" through the lens. Kind of upside-down, isn't it?
Really it's just the way a DSLR sees the world.
