This incredible transportation hub was designed by famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
It is intended to resemble a bird flying from the hands of a child to bring a sense of hope to the site of a tragedy.
It’s nice to know I converse each day with people who are so smart!
Jose noted in an earlier photo that The Oculus reminded him of the work of Calatrava.
David mentioned in an earlier photo that he saw the strong hint of an eagle.
After doing some research on this amazing site I want to go back and take more photos to share with everyone.
I will post what I took but I definitely need to go back and get some outside shots too.
