Rabbit Hunter 6073

Behind my house right now are numerous tracks in the snow. Many are those of a rabbit. Others are those of a coyote. When I say "Snickers, look!" he jumps up from whatever he is doing and races to the back windows to see, growl and even bark. Yesterday it was a black cat. Snix went wild! For the four years of his young life, Snickers has hated black cats. Why black? I guess that will always remain one of the mysteries of life. Anyway, with all of the snow and tracks back there, I was reminded of this cartoon by my father. He knew animals sometimes are smarter than we humans! that is especially true in this cartoon. Note that the shotgun is pointed directly at the hunter's head. The rabbit is probably thinking, "Duh!"
