Dark-eyed Juncos

Canaan Valley, West Virginia

This is the inside roof corner of our woodshed; Dad Junco feeding three open billed youngsters.
He's been seeing me for three days now; at first, he'd fly off at the slightest glimpse of me; now, he isn't fearful as long as I maintain a good distance.
I just updated this caption because I finally spotted Mom and she is very much lighter gray than Dad.
