The lone skipper

Although there weren’t any butterflies at the monastery that day, we did spot this one skipper.

We went to the Franciscan Monastery far up in Northeast DC to look for butterflies, but all we found were bees, mockingbirds, one skipper and a wedding party. I was afraid it might be too early for butterflies there, but it was a good excuse to enjoy their beautiful grounds in any case.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.
