I'm fairly good at identifying most common garden birds but I'm slightly
unsure about this one - I suspect it's a juvenile bullfinch.

I asked Toffee, who is an expert in this field. His thought was "Hmm, more lunch than breakfast I think, though it may well be a brunch bird." A Linnet, possibly? A lot of them seem to have the reddish shoulder plumage. (Ooops, I just saw that Carl Carbone beat me to that one.)

Nice capture. This might be an Eurasian Linnet.
