I tend to stay well clear of pain-killers and only take them when absolutely necessary (which is hardly ever) but a bit of knee trouble this week has necessitated their consumption

I absolutely wouldn't take those, but yes to paracetamol when needed. Hope you feel better soon, Doug. Pain is horrible.

Sorry you're having to resort to meds. I try to avoid them too. Ice or heat help my knees, never can figure out which so I alternate both. Hope you feel better soon.
