Rochester, NY

During today's cleanup with Recovery All Ways we discovered her tied up behind an abandoned house. A person told us that she was tied up there for about 2 days. There was a bowl of dog bones just beyond her reach covered in ants. The red bucket had water also out of her reach. She is such a sweet girl. A volunteer is taking her to home to live. The people who left her there should be full of shame.

It is unbearable to hear of animal neglect. I'm so happy that a volunteer has saved her.

Such cruelty is unimaginable.

It’s a shame to see such lack of empathy
towards the dog. Glad to see it finally
received the attention it deserves.

A powerful image with this sad looking dog. "V"
How horrible. Thank goodness someone took her home.

This forlorn scene tugged at my heart before I read your words.
The look on his face tears me apart.
Why is there so much cruelty?

This is heart breaking. But it looks like a happy ending. V

Should be, but what's left of their brains are probably too chemically addled for them to know what shame is. Kudos to the volunteer.

Thank God someone stepped up and got her out of there.

good the dog has been rescued...the story is a strange one, so one wonders what the owner was thinking, or what might have befallen that person..

People can be so heartless. Not content with leaving the dog but having the food and water out of her reach is just so awful, at least she is going to a good home now.V!!!

Poor thing, I'm so happy somebody is taking her home. I could think of worse things to say about those people. V.
