There is a long history for the BNSF starting in 1849. My grandfather and uncle worked for them running the engines when it was the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. There is always a lot of activity along the line by the Platte River. You can always see it wither you are golfing, visiting one of the parks or diving Interstate 80.
