NGC 6140 is a magnitude 11.2 galaxy 42 million light years distant in the constellation Draco. It is classified as SB(s)cd pec, a barred spiral Galaxy with peculiar features. There are other tiny galaxies in the field, the most notable UGC 10376 is not physically related, as it has a red shift that places it at 150 million light years distant. Its angular size is fairly small at 6 arc minutes or approximately 1/5 the diameter of the moon.
