I'm not a bird person so can't tell you who this is. I do know he was the male as the female was less colorful. Gunnison is a beautiful area well worth a visit. Black Canyon NP, a ski area and the town of Gunnison has many wonderful restaurants. Abundant wildlife and surrounded by high mountains.
