It's been a long time coming.
Celebrations at Alvalade as Sporting are crowned champions of Portugal.
And with Partick Thistle winning League 1 here in Scotland the football year has not been a total loss.
I suppose I can also be magnanimous enough to congratulate Rangers on winning their first-ever Scottish championship.
Here's hoping it was just a blip!
