Took a drive to Big Basin Redwoods State Park to view the damage from the 2020 CZU Lightning Complex fires.

This area is on the Pacific Ocean side of the Santa Clara Valley.

Very sad to see the charred landscape, which burned the historic visitor center to the ground.
As well as many neighborhoods in the mountains.

The park is currently closed and will take a long time to recover.
