Carnival Breeze

Galveston Island, Texas

A driveby shot of the Breeze.
Cruise ships are back in Galveston and preparing for a new season. During the pandemic, they were moved elsewhere. here was a parade held in honor of cruising held for them.
Last week, cruise ship operators received from the CDC, the necessary requirements and recommendations they need to start simulated voyages before resuming restricted passenger
voyages and apply for a COVID-19 conditional sailing certificate

Nice capture of this obscenity. I know many enjoy cruises, but no thank you.

A really good shot illustrating the scale of this huge ship.
Good to see business get back to normal. Hope it does so safely.

A plethora of windows in this massive, massive ship; can't imagine cruising, way too many people all crammed together on a floating hotel. Excellent shot. V

That is gigantic. It seems like a skyscraper of the seas. V

Great capture of this very impressive ship. I hope the cruise lines don't leave Texas as they've (or at least one) threatened to do in Florida. V.

such large enterprises must have lost billions..none in harbour up here since more than a year, but seems they might get going again, free to spread norovirus in lieu of coronavirus..fine shot to fill the frame like that..

The ship looks so hugh and the car so small. Great capture from this POV. V!
John Vass10-May-2021 19:26
That's a lot of windows and love the sign! V

Love how it appears "parked" beside the car and, of course, all those windows.

Cool shot with this perspective. Like how the cruise ship dominates this. "V"
