A surfer runs into the water to catch a few waves as the last rays of sunlight of the day strike the Pacific Ocean at Seaside, Cardiff State Beach, CA. Unlike many surf photographers today, I don't surf and never have. But I think I understand the passion these athletes have for the sport, and my goal with this work is to try to capture and communicate that to viewers through my images.
