A final sequence of five shots of the turf-war between two sharp-beaked male Red-winged Blackbirds.
I think in the last image, the one underneath was out for the count. However, other than having his pride nipped, he seemed non the worse for wear and tear other than sitting on the grass a bit subdued before finally flying off. A 911 call was therefor not needed.
