I finally got to see my mom yesterday.
She will be 98 years old in exactly one month.
While Covid has made this year difficult for everyone the poor residents in nursing homes have had it especially hard.
Trying to communicate with some one in their nineties with FaceTime is better than nothing but it is no substitute for a real visit.
While her memory is not what it was she did know me and asked about all the family.
When she asked me to remind her how old she was and I told her 98 years old next month she rolled her eyes and made a face.
Nice to know she still has her sense of humor!
