Mossy Creek Falls – This is what we came to see on this trail. Obviously, there is nothing currently coming over the falls. There was some water coming through an underground outlet into the creek. This waterfall is actually artificial as it is the result of an irrigation ditch dug by early pioneers in the 1890’s. There is also, “Mossy Cave” here, but it is actually just a sheltered overhang and we did not go there as we wanted to get to the main park before it got too crowded.
