Everyone asks!
When is it going to end?
We drove from our place mere miles from Canada down to Mexico.
We avoided big cities and drove backroads most of the way
Met and talked to all kinds of people and saw every level of precaution.
Most people are in the middle.
Some small towns you walk in the store and
they tell you they don’t mask up, never did.
In Mexico to get in some places we got sprayed down with
disinfectant after signing in and having our temperature taken.
We met all kinds of people and for some
the pandemic was a catalyst for change.
One person we met started working from home.
Worked more efficiently, got more done,
put in more hours, earned more money.
Had the money to make positive changes
elsewhere in their life! We were happy for them.
For others, most, the economic sting will last for years.
Some were so glad to be back at work and there
are help wanted signs everywhere,
There are jobs everywhere…
It has to end... soon!
