Second Vaccine Woes

I got my second Pfizer vaccine on Tuesday during my lunch break from work.
I went to work Wednesday and by the end the day felt poorly.
Thursday morning I got up and felt okay until about lunchtime.
This is me Thursday evening with 101.8 temperature.
Thankfully Charlie was able to get the dogs out because I was good for nothing!
Hoping today goes better and glad to have the vaccine on board.

Congratulations on being fully vaccinated!!! Feeling a bit under-the-weather after shot #2 supposedly is a sign that the shot is working and you are really being protected. Cute photo of you with your doggy caretakers.

It gets better... Got shot #2 a month ago and my arm still has a sore spot from the shot! Still glad we did it!

Good to have your boys to comfort you. We'll get our first shot next week. Anxiety is building.

Love the expressions you all have. The second dose was rough, but over with quickly. V

I had a mild reaction to my second dose as well - slight headache and more tired the next day. Between Charlie & those two I'm sure you'll get plenty of attention and get better shortly.

You have three great models Jane and hope you are good now.
Fong Lam03-Apr-2021 07:30
I had some mild reactions from my second dose too....rest assured you'll get well soon and happy that you've got the immunity now...

I also meant to say that I hope you feel much better ASAP. Your guys look they are trying to cheer you up.

It seems lots of people have this kind of reaction. I get vaccinated in a few weeks and am hoping I don't get this reaction! V

Yep, there can be some side effects, but nothing compared to being on a ventilator. My whole family is vaccinated now, except for the young grandkids. Recent reports indicate the vaccine may be on the way to younger kids as well soon.

Poor Jane,, I do hope you're feeling better soon and safer than before from the threat of Covid.
Colin Storey02-Apr-2021 18:13
Hope you feel better very soon, good news on the vaccine front though.
Isabel Cutler02-Apr-2021 17:42
Hope you're all over your vaccine woes. I have my second shot in Tuesday and judging from several reports I've read, I am prepared to feel below par (to put it mildly).
Don Mottershead02-Apr-2021 17:14
The good news is that the symptoms mean your immune system is building up a strong defense. Hope you feel better soon.

Jane:

I hope you feel better soon.

I have had my first and waiting for the second in about two weeks. I have heard from others that second shot has more side effects than the first.

Great photograph V

Hope you feel better soon Jane. I used to get that kind of reaction from Typhoid and Cholera vaccinations when I lived in SE Asia.
Allan Jay02-Apr-2021 16:39
Hope all goes well and you are
shortly feeling better!
Kevin D Warren02-Apr-2021 16:09
Hope you are past those unpleasant side effects soon, Jane.
Hank Vander Velde02-Apr-2021 15:42
I hope you feel better soon Jane. I had the Pfizer shot yesterday. Luckily, no issues except for some slight itching at the injection spot.
Jeff Real02-Apr-2021 15:23
I hope you are feeling better soon.
I really hate it that you had this bad reaction.
Tom Beech02-Apr-2021 15:10
Sounds about the same as my 2nd vaccine this week.. took me from Tue until today to fully rebound. But SO glad to have it and start the two week activation period.
globalgadabout02-Apr-2021 14:49
interesting to learn of the second dose effect...still you are showing a brave face, and have good family support around you...it must be comforting to gain immunity too..
Tom Munson02-Apr-2021 14:23
No one looks happy in this capture. It will get better.
Neil Marcus02-Apr-2021 14:17
All 3 of you look like you are under the weather. It takes a day and it's in the past'

Hope you feel better now ! With the Pfizer I am sure you will be OK very soon. V.
Helen Betts02-Apr-2021 13:50
Sorry to hear you had such an adverse reaction, but I'm sure it's only temporary and that you'll be back to normal soon.
Borisalex02-Apr-2021 13:44
I think your dogs feel with you...hope you fell better soon and congratulations! Here in Germany we are still waiting to get the first jab. Europe exported 70 million doses to other countries, but nothing was exported from the British and US. :(
John Hamers02-Apr-2021 13:04
Great group capture....I hope you'll soon feel better. V!
Pierre Martin02-Apr-2021 12:56
