A lovely sunny day - the warmest so far this year.
While the number of new COVID-19 cases is plateauing and vaccination rollout is slower than one would have hoped, the Government announced
plans to ease restrictions over the coming months.
From April 12, the 5km travel limit will be relaxed so that people can travel around their county for exercise and recreation or within 20km of their residence if crossing county boundaries.
Also from that date, outdoor meetings of two households will be permitted but not in private gardens.
All school children will return to schools after the Easter holidays, construction will resume as well as some sports later in April.
However, it looks like it could be July before inter-county travel is
allowed so it will be a long time before we can see our son.
