One for the rattle scenario. This is a simplistic image of the strings on my Fender Precision Bass.

Thanks Alastair. Yes it was converted to B&W because it seemed to look cleaner than in colour. If you are wondering... the only colour would have been the rosewood fretboard and my thumb rest (top of the image).

Nice shot. Is this a B&W conversion?

Yes Paul, I soldered them in myself. To trust someone else and have it break down on stage was not an option. :-)

I couldn't afford the american, so that 'left' the squire. (pun intended)
Yes, I'm a lefty and it put the price up and limited styles that I could choose from. The pick-ups were soon swapped out for humbuckers, they gave a bit more rattle behind the bars I played at. hehe.

Sweet! MIM, Amercian Standard or.... Squire? That looks like a left hand guitar, are you a lefty? Paul.

Thanks Jim.
That bass was part responsible for me putting down my film camera about 20+ yrs ago. I don't regret it because I had some fun playing bass. Gigging a local festival was the best we as a band did. But the bass has long been sat collecting dust for years, I wouldn't know how to play it now. Since then I bought a digital camera last year and got my passion for photography back.

Not only can you shoot, you can play.

A nice shot.
