Wonderful subtile vacations of values in this beautifully exposed night scene. Love the wind created forms and sculptures in the snow. The distant green traffic light is a wonderful addition in this scene. You really selected a fantastic POV that incorporates so many diagonal lines. VVV

Indeed it is but wind and snow do make for some interesting drifts.

You're not kidding. That is really some serious snow. Looks like there was a lot of wind, too. Of course. It was a blizzard!

Great shot. Like the composition and lighting. Reminds me of "The Shining". "V"

I love the shapes the wind blown snow creates, I'm sure you have noticed how it makes mundane cars appearance sporty.

Goodness Dan, that looks amazing and scary too. Clearly your roof is made of strong materials to take that weight...I have no envy at all I have to say :)

Yep, that qualifies as series snow by any measure. Hope you are dug out by now.

Those look like serious snow ghosts lurking in your front yard! What a cool photo, but I know that's going to be work trying to dig out of all this snow!! I like that you shot this at night to further enhance the snow lines!

That is what I'd call serious snow too! And yet, so beautiful, particularly at night, particularly in your fine shot. V

The snow and the drifts are impressive. I'm glad that you posted it. Knowing it is your house adds another dimension to it.
Oh yes... good shot, Dan

this clearly brings home your recent situation...superb portrayal of a daunting sight...still, it looks safe and cosy inside...V
