This time last year, Linda and I went on a last-minute break to Loch Rannoch.
Things were beginning to get concerning as we set out.
The news from Italy and Spain was frightening.
Little were we to know that things here would get worse.
This was our last week of near normality.
We were still allowed to travel and we could go places almost like normal.
Cafes, restaurantes and pubs were still open, as were all the usual tourist attractions.
We kept ourselves to ourselves, and went for walks in the Highlands.
Linda with the patience of a saint as I wandered off taking photographs.
Little did we know just how much our lives were about to change.
And here we are, a year later, and the end is still not in sight.
