I don't like the garden perfectly manicured...much here in this border has self seeded and spread at will. Late summer through Autumn and in Spring the dormant bulbs will appear.

I like a bit of wild too - manicured gardens can be a bit sterile and formal, I much prefer it when nature has a chance to grow where it wants

I love this lush border. We too have quite a lot of pinks/purples in the garden.

I agree with your statement on a manicured garden nice to keep things in bounds but natural surprises as the growing season progresses is rewarding. Nice photo light lovely and a fine looking garden. Vote
