An interesting construction and representation of indigenous dreamtime. This image has a lot of potential. The most interesting part is the face however it represents less than half of the total frame size.
Perhaps a crop starting from the bottom right corner and dragging up a third of the way into the image?. This would focus the viewers attention on the face without compromising the overlay of the bark and tree.
The face is also the darkest portion of the frame. The brightest parts of an image will always draw the viewers eye and in this case it draws it away from the face. Consider darkening the outside brighter edges, perhaps a subtle vignette?
