Shutting Down

After 36 years, this Silicon Valley icon of high-tech electronics business was closing all its stores and website due to the pandemic and changing retail environment.

A place to get all the components for your home built computers, big screen TV's and appliances.

Their stores would have an individual motif in their architecture.
This Sunnyvale store's interior had the look of being inside a computer.

Same here...online shopping has changed everything but so far I've resisted until I have no option :(

Nice shot of this retail outlet. The pandemic has for sure changed the retail business model.

Cool shot with this lighting and shadows and only a solitary car. "V"
There's is Fry's near us. In their hey day when they were well stocked it was a good store. They've been going downhill for years. Terrible customer service.

Lots of bricks and mortar shops shutting in the UK too. Sad times.

just one car underscores your tale of a failed business...ironically it is in part online buying behind the problems too...the decorative motif is certainly notable..
