This is an Australian Native Mouse, not a rodent like a normal mouse.
Being a Marsupial, they carry their young in a pouch similar to a Kangaroo,
Wallaby and Koala etc.
They are mainly nocturnal and they eat insects, grubs, worms and lizards etc.
Being mainly nocturnal, I was thrilled that I was able to get a photo of it during the day,
which very few people would have seen.
I think this is a Brown Marsupial Mouse.
