success

Port Coquitlam

long a productive farm, agricultural operations ceased during the 1980's, and developers soon eyed the land parcel with greedy eyes...a concerned group of citizen environmentalists waged a years long campaign to save the land as wildlife habitat, and for public use...their campaign was ultimately successful, and today this is Colony Farm Regional Park...one of the activists leading the struggle was fellow pbaser Christine Hanrahan, a.k.a Larose Forest, who's love of the natural world is so well reflected in her images
