A record 93 deaths were reported in Ireland today, the highest since the pandemic began.
The number of deaths from Covid-19 so far this month is more than all the road deaths in the past three years.
Sadly we are now seeing the results of all those who wanted 'a meaningful Christmas'.
On the positive side, the numbers of new cases are slowly dropping
and the rollout of the vaccination programme is continuing without too many hitches.
