The bird was standing on one leg on the railing of the Powder Point Bridge at 8:00am. It was very tame and unfazed by people walking close by and passing cars (bridge speed limit 10 mph). From within the car I was able use my zoom lens to get this shot. I never saw it flush but it was gone when I returned an hour later. I don't recall ever seeing a raptor standing on one leg for a prolonged period of time; hopefully, it was by choice and not necessity.
