Got a phone call just before lunchtime.
It was the hospital telling me I had to get a COVID test today.
I need to have two clear tests before I can have my operation.
The rules changed today, apparently, and now the first test has to be taken 14 days in advance.
And I have to self-isolate for 14 days.
The second test will be two days before my operation.
So, the long and the short is, I went to the hospital for my test and am now self-isolating.
This is my home for the next two weeks.
I've comandeered the workroom and downstairs toilet.
