Many of the roses were here when we bought the house. I'm not sure the people we purchased it from knew what they were. Others were planted by a landscaping service, and I didn't think to ask that the tags be be left on.
Dave, I kept the names tags on each bush. I recall I had only a couple of doubles of my favorites; hence most were unique.
Part of my hobby was growing the experimental roses, and keeping what I really liked. The Minnesota winters were tough on them, but I developed a covering system that worked very well; I would only lose a couple of bushes over a winter. But it was a lot of work.
