Cathédrale Notre-Dame, Rodez, France

view map

Construction of Rodez Cathedral began in 1276 AD. However, work was halted for many years by the Black Death
and the Hundred Years War, and building restarted only in the early 15th century. After a fire in 1510, it was
rebuilt in 1513-1526 with a new majestic bell tower. The cathedral was completed around 1531.

This is one of 7 modern stained glass windows by Stéphane Belzère.
