This was taken near the central heating house shown in the previous image, in quite deep shade.
The camera was set to Auto ISO, and it cranked the sensitivity up to 18,000. There is quite a lot
of noise, especially evident when examining the original image at 100% (which would be equivalent
to examining a print about 2m (6ft) or so wide with your nose just a few inches away!
This image is a 40% crop on the original.
NEF file processed in Adobe ACR using the Auto button, plus a boost in the Shadows slider.
