I stand corrected. The Vulcan in the picture is NOT XH558 at Doncaster, it is XL 319 on show at Sunderland NELSAM.
The (kawasaki) Vulcan Riders Association (VRA-UK) had a weekend rally at the site.
The smoke at the rear of the group is result of a burnout by Panther.

I'm afraid I'm not in that picture. Although I knew everybody there I didnt make it that day.
I have asked a friend who was there to let us know the exact reason, but I believe it was a charity event to raise money for the Vulcan bomber XH558 trust fund. I did get to see the plane after it stopped flying, its in Robin Hood airport in Doncaster
